Top Gun Maverick. And they say sequels never surpass their predecessor… well that’s a myth busted. This is movie is nearly perfect in everything it sets out to achieve : action that gets your adrenaline pumping executed along with storytelling that keeps you at the edge of your seat throughout.

The movie is basically carried by Tom Cruise who returns as Maverick, but there also a few new shining stars who he takes under his wing. There is a really interesting dynamic between Rooster (played by Miles Teller) and Maverick himself, which somewhat ties into the events of the first movie, so I won’t disclose anything here.
